Matthew Scheffel

Matt Scheffel joined the Cooper Center as an economist in January 2025.  Matt has worked as both an economic consultant and a business and data analyst; at the Cooper Center, he works on the state economic forecast and other economic analyses. Matt is a “double ‘Hoo” with a BA in Economics and Spanish and an MS in Data Science, both from UVA.
