Hobbies/interests: Barbara is a language consultant for Volunteers with International Students, Staff, & Scholars (VISAS), a volunteer at the Legal Aid Justice Center, a member of the Charlottesville Symphony Orchestra, and part of the Global Inquirer podcast produced by the International Relations Organization. In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin, learning to play tennis and cello, exploring new restaurants, hiking, and (re) watching Gilmore Girls. She hopes to eventually work for a think tank/research organization.
