Samuel Barndt

Samuel Barndt is the Recruiting and Development Assistant at the Sorensen Institute. He joined the Sorensen Institute full-time in October 2024. Sam's role has him interacting with various communities all over the Commonwealth to ensure a quality applicant pool for Sorensen's programs, highlight Sorensen's mission, and help build financial support for the Institute.

Sam is a 2024 alumnus of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and a minor in Anthropology (UVA '24). While at UVA, he was active in various political clubs across campus serving in both executive and appointed positions.
