David Toscano practices family and estate planning law in Charlottesville. He served seven terms in the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 57th District, which includes all of Charlottesville and parts of Albemarle County, and is the seat once occupied by Thomas Jefferson in the House of Burgesses. David served as the Democratic Leader in the House of Delegates from 2011 through 2018. He also served on the Charlottesville City Council from 1990 to 2002 and as Mayor from 1994 to 1996. David is an alumnus of Colgate University (B.A.), Boston College (Ph.D) and the University of Virginia School of Law. He has served on the Boards of Directors for the United Way of Greater Charlottesville and the Public Education Fund of Charlottesville-Albemarle.
