WALLERSTEIN SCHOLARS
Student scholars engage in a variety of public service internships within the Cooper Center, the Virginia Municipal League, or local governing organizations throughout the Commonwealth.

Cooper Center interns
Students can gain practical public service experience by working within one of the Cooper Center's teams from leadership development to applied research and energy work to media production.

Alexis freitas
Alexis worked for the Center for Economic & Policy Studies as a researcher. She contributed to a range of projects from creating visualizations for an energy dashboard used to track Virginia's progress toward decarbonization to simulating ways to supplement Virginia's electricity with renewable sources.
