Internships

The Wallerstein Scholars internship is a collaborative initiative between the Virginia Municipal League, the University of Virginia’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service, and the UVA Internship Placement program.

The Virginia College Civic Leaders Program, sponsored by the University of Virginia’s Karsh Institute of Democracy and the Sorensen Institute of Political Leadership, is open to currently enrolled undergraduate students (rising Second, Third and Fourth-Year students) who are interested in policy and/or the public sector.

The Weldon Cooper Center provides undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on, policy-relevant internships in public service, both within the Center and in organizations throughout the Commonwealth.
