Allie Cognata

Allie graduated from Virginia Tech in 2023 with a major in Human Development and a minor in Psychology and Disability Studies. She has experience working in a variety of settings with children (e.g., camps and schools) and interned with the Virginia Transportation Research Council, where she worked on research projects directly and provided administrative support. She also has experience serving her community.

Allie assists with several research-related administrative duties, including supporting the research teams’ work with the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and its systems; helping Cooper Center researchers think about how to use collaborative systems; and coordinating activities with and for the research teams.
